HOW WE SHIP
We strap the comics between 2 pieces of cardboard and place them in a box.
We use Canada Post to mail comics.
THINGS TO NOTE
Shipping prices include the cost of materials not just postage.
All Orders are tracked.
Generally shipping to other countries there is a customs charge when an item is insured for over $50.
This varies between country, and is your responsibility to pay.
Canada, although neighbours with the USA, has a different postal system.
Media Rate is not an option.
We have mail pick ups Tuesday through Friday.
We are closed Sundays and Mondays, if you order on a friday afternoon, Your order will not get picked until Tuesday.
Orders will be pulled awaiting the next pack up day.
How Do I Order?
Option 1:

2. Pay using any major credit card, Apple Pay or Paypal
3. Send an email to thecanadiancomicbin@gmail.com if you’d like to pick up an order.

-Yes again! Choose the Pick Up option at checkout and Swing by during shop hours. Bring your invoice printed out or on a mobile device.
Can I Build an order over time?
Yes! Many customers want to Order books but wait until they have a bunch to save on shipping.
Use Promo Code: ORDERBUILD and this will only charge you for the book and they will be held in the shop until you are ready to have it shipped at a later date. this is not free shipping. You will have to pay for a shipping invoice to have Your Orderbuild’s sent to you.
Can I make an order and pick it up at a show you are attending to save on shipping?
-Yes, yes, three times yes! Use promo code: PICKUPORDER to cut the cost of shipping and send us a message that you'll be picking up the books.
Please give us time before hand, 2 days before a show is not usually enough time.
A comic is priced at $0, is it free?
-Sadly, it is not. On the rare occasion a price or weight may be left out when listing a comic. You will have to pay for that comic.
Do you buy comics?
-Yes, we do. Bring them in to the shop!
We will need to see the comic collection in person to make an offer. If you have a large collection. We can organize a time to come and look.
What happens if my order gets damaged in transit?
-It rarely happens but if it does take a deep breathe, relax and contact us with photos of the damage.
We will try to replace it, refund for returns or even store credit. Reach out to us and we'll figure it out together!
Can I order all your copies of this weeks new release that is now going for 10 times the cover price?
No. For the 1st two weeks of Sale New issues are limited to 2 copies per customer. After the 2 weeks, order all you like. No limit on Back issues or Pre Orders! Please make use of preorders.
Also there will be the odd stipulation where it is 1 per customer. This will be noted in the title. and Again if We have ordered insanely heavy on an issue, buy as much as you like.
I'm looking for certain issues can you bring them in?
-THe store stock is generally reliant on collections that come in. and It’s always a surprise as to what new stock we’ll get.
What's the best you can do? a.k.a. Can I get a discount If I buy more than one?
-Short answer, no.
I have 4 comics in my cart and the shipping says $30, when it should be $20.00!
That's not a question.
perhaps We messed up. We put the weight of each comic in our system. There are a few times we caught ourselves with a decimal in the wrong place. Send us a message and we'll fix the error.
Will this grade at a 9.8?
Maybe.
we don't grade a book higher than a NM and that can be a range of 9.4 to 9.8.
Just remember every grader’s opinion is slightly different, even CGC has 3 different people to grade a single comic, and then they take the average.
My NM- may be your NM and vice versa.
